最近「ニュースで学ぶ現代英語」NHK(webで見聞き可）をはじめました。1分程度のニュースですが初回で聞き取れることはほぼなく、英文付きなら、あ～そうね、という位です。
お伺いしたいのは、リスニングの秘訣や心構え🤔です。
ちなみに、COLONIES OF INVASIVE ANT SPECIES FOUND AT OSAKA AIRPORTの記事をいま聞いてたとこでした😉

Natsuさん、初めまして！リスニングがどうにも苦手で困っています…特に早口な人だと、何度も聞き返すのも申し訳無くて(分かったふりの方がよほど失礼だとは思いますが)やはり慣れでしょうか？

Zackさんこんにちは！ニュース系だと特に難しい言い回しや表現が多くて難しいですよね！😭私がおすすめするリスニングでの心構えは、“全てを完璧に聞き取ろうとしない”ことです。単語を一つ一つ聞き取るというよりは、表現の雰囲気を聞き取ることが秘訣かなと思います！そうして耳が慣れたときに自然と単語も一つ一つキャッチできるようになりました😉

Skakoさん初めまして😊私も10代でアメリカに行った経験があるのでお気持ちよくわかります！(現地の10代のガールズたちはほんっとうに早口です😂) わたしもいちいち聞き返したりするのが申し訳なくて、結局黙ってそこにいるだけのような状態が続きましたが、それが逆に、わかってないんだろうな〜と相手に感じさせてしまっていて相手にも気を遣わせてしまっていました😅少し気がひけるけど、やはり聞き返すこと、ゆっくり話してとお願いすることが1番のコミュニケーションだと思います✨

なつさん質問ですっ！🙌🏻 英語でよく、SやTなど単語には含まれてるけど実際は発音しない音（costcoみたいな）ってよくあると思うんですが、どんな時に読まないとかありますか？とりあえず音で覚えるように意識していたんですが、たまに混乱してしまって＞＜💦

私は決まりを考えちゃうと余計に考えちゃうのでHarukaさんがやってるようにとにかく音で覚えました！(ネイティブも決まりは何？と聞いても分からず感覚で話しているのがほとんどです！)序盤はなかなか難しいですが、とにかくアウトプットすることで混乱も克服できるんじゃないかと思います😄

I went to do some blueberry picking in Chiba today🫐
we made smoothie, pizza and pancakes with those fresh blueberries that we picked 🌱 how do you all like to eat blueberries?

Omg those all looks so good!!! I like my blueberries (frozen) in Greek yoghurt along with bananas, granola, and honey :))

it is a random question but I want to ask Natsusan as a Japanese who learned to speak English fluently. which way is better to master conversational English with limited time, learning only in English

or with Japanese(or mother tongue)?
I know the best way is to use English as many times as they can. but many ppl don't have enough time to spend. with Japanese, maybe it's easier to understand Englis

but sometimes Japanese translation wouldn't work well and it might easier to understand by explanation in English. 英語だけを使って学ぼうとするとすごい時間がかかるという問題点もあって、どういう学習方がいいかなって模索してました。一意見としてもらえたら嬉しい😊

私も日本にいた頃は毎日英語を話せと言われても、時間も機会も足りていなくてなかなか模索して迷ってました！私が実践してよかった！と思ったのは、目についたり耳に入るものをとにかく英語にすることです！例えば携帯の端末設定を英語に設定していると、日本語で検索してもサイトが自動で英語になったりするので自然と英語を目にする機会が増えるし、アメリカに行く直前は特に徹底して日本の音楽テレビは全く見ませんでした。自然と触れられるものを英語にしておくだけでも慣れていけると思います✨☺️
