Makiko San and Kim san, happy to hear that you liked it. Inside of this cutlet is made from tuna fish, boiled potato, fried onions, and some spices. cover is made using egg batter and bread crumbs. This is a popular snack for us 🙂.

Yesterday, I went to Motown House in Roppongi which is very close to Hard rock cafe. This bar is popular among foreigners in Tokyo. Had a tequila sunrise and a Martini and the quality is pretty decent.

Dosa is made of a different grain called vigna mungo aka urad dhal. Inside of the dosa has a delicious potato curry. Give it a try Tam. That's a whole different taste and you'll love it.

Meg San, gave the exact answer 😍. Yes it's a Wax Apple or Java Apple. A common crunchy and juicy fruit that grows in tropical countries. In my country we say Jambu.

Wow!!! I love Orient express too. You can do it someday Julie San. About this train ride, it doesn't cost that much and of course it's not luxury like orient express. First class train ticket would be like 2000 yen. But can enjoy breathtaking views. So try it if you visit Sri Lanka someday ☺️☺️

Yes, It used to be noisy when I came to Zama for few months. Then I heard that people complained a lot about the noise of the airbase. Now it's not noisy. 🙂

@Emma, that depends on what is his interest. If he likes beach, he can go to Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna or Nigambo. If he likes history, he can go to Anuradhapura, polonnaruwa and Sigiriya. If he likes mountains, he can go to Horton plains, Nuwaraeliya, ohiya or basically anywhere in the central hills. 🙂

Saw this Lion beer at Food shows in Shibuya. It's a Sri Lankan beer and this is the first time I saw it in a supermarket in Japan. It is made of rice. Also the alcohol percentage is pretty high for a beer. Please try if you wanna get a different experience 😃🍺

@Kiwako I think it’s not just a problem with Japan. However, I do think there could be many things leading to unhealthy food and lifestyle. 例えば, the work culture in Japan is the worst. People work too much and have overtime. So when they are awfully tired, it’s easier to buy instantly ready food.

This is a typical Sri Lankan healthy meal. There is some red rice topped with carrot and potato curry, fish stir fry and a green leaf salad which we say mallum. This is a very cheap meal in Sri Lanka but kinda expensive here in Japan 😀

@Debbi In Sri Lanka, people usually drink milk tea or straight tea. In cold days we love to mix freshly cut ginger into tea so it becomes ginger tea. These 3 kinds are most common in SL
